Health and Safety Code 2020-2021
Due to the small class size of 9 to 15 students in the entire school, we will provide in person learning per state guidelines.
We will offer remote learning for students that need to stay home but feel well enough to work, those needing travel, etc.
Staff, Students, and Volunteers will be screened for temperature readings upon entering the building. We ask that anyone showing symptoms stay at home and please report symptoms to the school.
Students will be required to wear a mask, when social distancing can not be maintained, however spaces in the class will be designed for safe distancing. We will also conduct classes outside to enjoy learning in the beautiful Colorado weather.
We will follow public health guidelines and protocols as changes are required throughout the school year.
We will have air purifiers in the rooms to remove bacteria, viruses, dust, etc.
The school has a supply of one-time use face masks for students needing them during the day in case they forget theirs at home, if they come down with a fever during the school day, or they are not feeling well. Families will be notified for pick up.
We will teach and practice regular hand washing. We will also have hand sanitizer at the school.
Students will bring individual supplies and a supply box, and shared items will be reduced. These items will be cleaned when shared.
We will have enhanced cleaning of the school building and physical movement supplies. We will be asking for volunteers to help with this cleaning process.
If a virus outbreak or inclement weather requires the closure of the building, students will work from home via Zoom with the staff.
We will notify families of any changes to the safety protocols.
